How to get to the Summer Inn:
By Bus—MTD
Santa Barbara has an excellent public transportation service. If you are arriving sometime during the day this is an inexpensive option.Line 11 runs directly from the Santa Barbara Airport to UCSB campus. Please call (805) 683-3702 or go to www.sbmtd.gov for further information.
Local Taxi Cab Numbers
Another option is to take a taxi from the Santa Barbara Airport to UCSB. The Summer Inn is located close to Parking Lot 24. There are three companies listed below. Their phone numbers are all local, and cabs are available 24 hours a day.

By Car
UCSB is easily accessible from US-101.
* From the South: Take US-101 to the Airport/UCSB/Hwy. 217 exit (approximately 8 miles north of downtown Santa Barbara). 217 will take you directly into campus; bear to the right when entering campus, and follow directional signs to the "Summer Inn."
* From the North: Take US-101 to the Storke/Glen Annie Road. exit. Turn right on Storke Road and proceed 2 miles to El Colegio Road. Turn left on El Colegio Road and proceed through the campus’s West Gate. Turn right at the second traffic light (Ocean Road) after entering campus and follow signs towards the "Summer Inn," at the end of Ocean Road.
