VLab sponsors workshops whose scope varies from year to year and
may rotate between Minneapolis, London/Leeds, and Trieste.
Workshops on properties of the deep Earth are co-organized with the
DESMOND group in the UK. Workshops on planetary materials properties are
co-organized with DEMOCRITOS simulation center in Italy. This scheme
exposes the VLab internationally and optimizes its resources and efforts
by taking advantage of well-established structures and experiences.
